Buena Ola Capital is a quantamental (quantitative and fundamental) investment firm, founded in 2021 in New York.

We invest in companies built to last. The strongest businesses grow earnings without drawing down the people, resources and natural systems they rely on. They reinvest in them. That reinvestment is not a cost against returns. It can be the basis of durable returns. That conviction is the foundation of how we deploy capital. Every investment is assessed on people, planet and prosperity variables.

Managing Partner

Our Managing Partner is an investor, operator and three-time founder. He has honed his craft over more than 20 years in the investment industry. He founded Buena Ola in 2021 and manages the portfolio. He designed its triple bottom line methodology and built the systems behind it. Prior to Buena Ola, he spent twelve years at a long/short value firm. He ran its trading desk through the 2008 crisis, and from 2009 was one of two investment professionals responsible for all portfolios, across public equities, derivatives, credit and distressed situations.
